In Italy you can find many Porsche Clubs where every fan of the German brand can meet for track activities or just enjoy their cars around with many friends. Registers are, however, a totally separate world. This is not the first time we meet a Porsche Registry but, this time, I really want to show you this fantastic world made of fantastic people dedicated to the passion for the historical variations of the Porsche 911 and 912. <\/p>\n

But that’s not all! The Italian Porsche 911 and 912 Register, like the other Registers, is dedicated more to conviviality and a consultancy about technical issues, commercial inquiries and all the discussion related to the restoration of this beautiful cars, helping the members to maintain and improve their 911 and 912. At the centre of this activity for the Italian Porsche 911 and 912 Register are precisely the Verification Sessions, held five times a year around in various Italian dealers, which consist of a real analysis of the car. <\/p>\n

The activity is performed by a highly trained staff and lasts about two hours with the drafting of a Verification Dossier. The Verification Dossier, show me Mario, is a real document that only the Italian Porsche 911 and 912 Register and a few others in Europe are able to release in order to certify the car’s condition, its original characteristics or no originality, known history ( with the help of Porsche Italy archives), the characteristics and possible damages. <\/p>\n

In addition to the Verification Dossier, every car in the Register will receive a unique numbered badge and will be followed in his life for any further certificates if some improvements are made. The owner will then have in his hands a precious document that will help understand, in as much detail as possible, in what their car are different (or less) from the original, in case you want to restore it, or sell it to a higher value. All the Verification Sessions also are useful to create and maintain a real computer data store with the highest number possible of 911 and 912 in Italy trying to gather as much information as possible about them and always trying to convince the owners to restore their cars to conditions of greater originality. <\/p>\n

The originality of the car is one of the fundamental points of the the Italian Porsche 911 and 912 Register which aims to contribute to the conservation and enhancement of the historic heritage represented by 911 and 912 located in Italy. So many activities for this club that offers expertise people together with an atmosphere of friendship that is also reflected in the organization of rallies and also travel even up to the Porsche factory in Germany. In order to register your car, it must belong to a 20-year period prior to the current year, then every August, is added a new batch of cars. <\/p>\n

In a wonderful festive atmosphere at the Porsche Centre Vanti Sport (ex Soveco) Bologna I could admire the work of real masters and connoisseurs of these cars in a dealer able to make every fan of the Porsche world really at home.
