The contest in Villa d&#8217;Este was celebrated for the first time in 1929, in the golden years of aristocratic cars.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1888\" src=\"http:\/\/www.car-shooters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/CAR_SHOOTERS_VILLA_DESTE_30.jpg\" alt=\"concorso eleganza villa d'este\" width=\"690\" height=\"459\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1890\" src=\"http:\/\/www.car-shooters.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/CAR_SHOOTERS_VILLA_DESTE_32.jpg\" alt=\"concorso eleganza villa d'este\" width=\"690\" height=\"459\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The first edition saw 80 cars participate and a great interest of collectors and gave the award of excellence to an Isotta Fraschini 8A. The event well combines the wonders of the past and the spectacular nature of the future. In the same year it won the 12 Hours of Paris but also it was the first Ferrari to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
